I started the game earlier in the week, slowly learning the game and reading up on the wiki. I haven't flicked through the forums for guides/tips yet shortly but intend to do so over the weekend.
I'm all set up for my first proper race, managed to get a lovely driver who has the highest overall stats allowed for my league and I haven't spent too much of my starting allotment.
I'm liking the concept of this game so far, slowly accepting how slow'ish the pace is when starting out. I'm sure it'll quicken up when I learn more, unlock TD's and successfully negotiate with those pesky sponsors.

I am Norwegian and are looking for a team. I have only played two races by now so i know its not easy for you to "pit" me into your team, but if you do you will not regret it.
- i have read everything in wiki, faq, and newbie giude. Reading on forum i have also done but not everything yet.
- I feel i have learned the basics of the game ( with fuel calculation, tire wear calculation, importancy of finance, ccp, and more) for making a good run next season when i will be able to run whole season.
- Still i want to get into a team now for not doing any mistakes and to be best prepared for next season in rookie. I am still not sure about the best attributes a driver should have even i have an idea and about whats the best way for building up the car, facility etc without spending to much money in the rookie league before going to amateur and then its data that would be nice to discuss with others.
Well, yeah i could test and fail a few seasons but i rather not :p

I've returned to GPRO after what must be 4-5 years. I used to play with my late brother Leigh Gaskin but since he passed in 2014 I didn't really have the motivation to play.
However with that being said I'm giving it another go and want to get back into it. I raced during seasons 36 - 43 and had climbed to Pro before leaving the game. I would love to find a welcoming team who are prepared to guide me as I get back into things and also looking to make some friends as my brother so easily did through this game.
If you knew of Leigh, it would be great to add you to my friends list.
Considering to get back into a team. Had to leave previously as had too much going on in the real world and felt it unfair to remain but things a lot less mad now and hope to be in Pro in Season 70
New to GPRO (only 4 races in), but would like to join a team that has a desire to help a new manager become a great manager! My hope would be to spend the next season as a Rookie still and then move up after that.
Okay, never thought I'll be posting here one day but here I'm so lets get on with it :D
hmm,,, Why I'm posting here?? ? of course I'm willing to join a team and I've no experience in writing a proper application,,never wrote one,,,hmm.. no actually did wrote one some 35-36 seasons back for one of the top teams of those days (because my friend made it his life's mission that I send that application),, and guess what? got rejected in favor of some noob rookie (FYI that team is still at the very top and that noob manager has established himself as one e of the most decorated champions of all time so guess they were right :XD). Anyways you got the gist.
What can I offer?? not much to be honest,, not an excel genius, no programming skills and what else,,, technological know-how is also limited. But I do have loads of data of my own and I'm willing to share all of it for team's benefit. Plus the experience that comes with all those seasons spent here might come handy. And I'm and will remain a supporter of the game forever, I think that is also a plus point on several fronts.
What I'm expecting??? Now as I've decided to join a team then I want to do it properly..I want to be part of a well organised team with a vision and an ambition in the game,,, current position doesn't matter really but they should have gorgeous livery and an interactive atmosphere...yes these two are my priorities.

I'm new to GPRO, about 6 races in and would be interested in joining a team for the upcoming season. Obviously as newb there's only so much I can offer given my lack of knowledge. I'm a native English speaker, and would prefer to not have to use skype.
I am a professional software dev though, so I guess that could come in handy if you need some programming done

Personally, I'm looking for that middle ground in a team, a blend of team dynamic and focus on performance... to me one is not more or less important than the other.
